Celebrities used to have to follow a strict dress code. This year, the evening was dubbed “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” by the Met Gala organizers. Yves Saint Laurent, Elsa Schiaparelli, Christian Dior, and other well-known fashion designers produced the ensembles that the stars tried on at the Fashion Institute.
