His condition is further complicated by diabetes and hypertension. Additionally, doctors have diagnosed him with spinal stenosis (narrowing of the spinal canal), fluid in the heart and lungs, and other serious pathologies.
“Mr. Weinstein tested positive for COVID-19 and developed bilateral pneumonia,” his representative confirmed.

Harvey Weinstein was sentenced to 23 years in prison in New York in February 2020 on charges of rape and forced oral sex. In 2022, a Los Angeles court added a 16-year prison sentence on further rape charges.
A New York court recently overturned one of his convictions. The ruling stated that the trial judge had committed a significant violation by allowing prosecutors to call witnesses who claimed Weinstein harassed them, despite their testimony not being part of the original charges brought against him.
