This is their first official visit to Nigeria after royal life. Their Duke and Duchess of Sussex were being invited to Nigeria by the country’s Chief of Defense Staff.
Meghan Markle, 42, and Prince Harry, 39, stepped down from the royal path in 2020. Visit Nigeria on Friday, May 10, on their first official international tour since stepping down as royals.

According to reporters, they arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja on the morning of May 10. They were invited to visit the African country by its Chief of Defense Staff, the highest-ranking military officer.
Meghan did not go to the UK for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games. Meghan Markle later joined him and they traveled to Nigeria together.
Their trip to Nigeria will begin on Friday morning with a school visit and meeting with the Chief of Defense Staff. In the afternoon, Harry will visit wounded servicemen at a military hospital.

On Saturday they will attend the training session (organized by the Chief of Defense Staff). Meghan will then co-host a Women in Leadership event with World Trade Organization Director-General Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iyewala.
Upon the upcoming Sunday, the Duke and Duchess are slated to partake in a myriad of engagements. Their agenda encompasses a basketball clinic orchestrated by Giants of Africa, a cultural soirée, and a polo event designated for Nigeria: Unconquered.
