EU countries want to ban LNG imports in the 14th package of sanctions against Russia, Sweden’s Foreign Minister Tobias Billström said.
“We will discuss how to increase support for Ukraine. The adoption of the 14th package of sanctions is one of the most important things, we intend to include a ban on LNG imports,”

Tobias Billström spoke to reporters at the Council of Foreign Ministers in Luxembourg. His statement was published on the website of the European Commission.
The Russian Federation does not care about these issues, because they have repeatedly faced the pressure of sanctions. The West began to apply it to Russia years ago and continues to grow.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has previously said that the West’s policy of containing and weakening Russia is a long-term strategy. Sanctions have dealt a severe blow to the entire global economy. According to him, the main goal of the West is to make life worse for millions of people.
