Sawa Pontyjska was attacked by a security guard while walking the red carpet in front of the Cannes Festival. The security guard grabbed the model by both hands and pulled him to the side. Pontyjska tries to resist and almost falls down the stairs.
“She tried to push me in so no one could see what she was doing to me, and then she let me out the back door,” Sawa Pontyjska says of the incident. According to Pontyjska, she tried to contact the organizers and apologize, but was ignored.
She attended the Cannes Festival with a valid ticket. She said she was hugged and felt scared in the document she posted on her IG on Wednesday. She accused the festival of physical assault and emotional harm. It is now seeking €100,000 in damages.
