Recently, Britney Spears‘ lawyer Mathew Rosengart announced her retirement. The lawyer has been working with the singer for a long time.
He had been working with Britney Spears, 42, since about 2021 (July) he suddenly decided to retire. Since starting his work he has brought remarkable results.
Mathew Rosengart also worked as a celebrity consultant, for example, helping to negotiate a deal between the publishing house Simon & Schuster and the singer to publish his memoirs.
Rosengart also provided Britney Spears with several other tasks. Such as helping draft and finalize a prenuptial agreement with the singer’s ex-husband, Sam Asgari.
“It was an honor to serve as Britney’s lawyer in the lawsuit. As she wished, her freedom now includes no longer having to attend court or involved in legal proceedings in this case,” he said.
“It was my honor to serve as Britney’s attorney in the lawsuit, working with her to achieve her goals of obtaining a court order removing her former conservator. And then restoring her fundamental rights. And civil liberties, while continuing to protect her. Most recently time and release her from all pending lawsuits and everything else. But as I have always said, the main credit for this belongs to Britney herself,” Rosengart said in an official statement.
Rosengart tells BreatheHeavy: “I am proud of Britney, and will always proud of our work together. And our mission—especially in restoring the fundamental rights and civil liberties that had been stripped from her. I of course am not abandoning her, as I admire her greatly and always will. But the litigation and courtroom work have ended and my role has always been that of a litigator.”
He added: “I’m also grateful and appreciative of the great fans and their support.”
