Postponing release of Marvel Studios’ Blade remake has become almost routine, and it won’t change in November 2025. The project seems cursed with delays.
Originally set for November 7, 2025, Blade has now disappeared from the release schedule. Disney will release Predator: Badlands instead, according to Deadline. The reason for the latest delay wasn’t mentioned.

The Blade reboot, originally starring Wesley Snipes, was announced at Comic-Con 2019. This time, two-time Oscar winner Mahershala Ali will take the lead. Problems started with the global pandemic and Hollywood strikes.
Then, two directors left the project: first Bassam Tariq, who aimed for a 2022 release, and later Yann Demange. According to the cast and crew, Marvel boss Kevin Feige is focused on making the best Blade possible, so filming won’t start without a solid script.
In the meantime, Wesley Snipes will make a cameo as Blade in Marvel Studios’ Deadpool and Wolverine, much to fans’ and critics’ delight.
