Katy Perry‘s “wet” look from the VMAs turned out to be fitting as her mansion flooded. The luxurious home, valued at over million dollars won by singer in a court case against 85-year-old Carl Westcott.
Westcott claims the house began leaking before Katy moved in. He had made a deal to sell it but later said he was under strong medication when signing the agreement and asked to void the sale.

The court denied his request. Now Carl wants to delay the transfer of the property until December or early next year, blaming April handover for complications.
During a pre-scheduled inspection, it was found that the house had significant water damage within the last 24-48 hours. Westcott said the damage increased the amount of needed repairs.
Katy Perry hasn’t yet addressed the incident, though she’s had a tough year. Even her partner, Orlando Bloom, has reportedly struggled to support her emotionally.
