He also shared a funny Halloween story about meeting man dressed as Spider-Man while trick-or-treating. No one except his family knew he played Spider-Man at the time.
It’s worth noting that Jon Watts, director of Spider-Man: No Way Home, has stepped down. Destin Daniel Cretton, known for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, may take over.
Earlier, Holland praised the draft script for the new Spider-Man, calling the plot great and saying the film will “earn the fans’ respect.” Rumor has it the movie will release in summer 2026 and focus on multiverse events.
