Sidney Eudy, known to wrestling fans as Sid Vicious, Sycho Sid, and Sid Justice, has passed away at the age of 63. His son has confirmed the news of his death.
Gunnar confirmed his father’s death on his Facebook, “I am deeply saddened to share that my father, Sid Eudy, has passed away after battling cancer for several years. He was a man of strength, kindness, and love, and his presence will be greatly missed.”

Shawn Michaels, who both worked with and competed against Sid, expressed his sorrow on X, stating, “An unforgettable presence, and it can’t be overstated how big of a role he played in creating ‘The Heartbreak Kid.’ His work, legacy, and influence will inspire our business for generations to come.”
Booker T. Huffman wrote on his X account, “Without Sid Vicious, I don’t think my brother and I would have made it to WCW. His impact on this business was undeniable, and he paved the way for so many of us. My Deepest condolences to his family during this difficult time.”

Sid first claimed the WWF championship in November 1996 by defeating Michaels, and later regained the title in February 1997 from Bret Hart.
