Nearly a week after Todd and Julie Chrisley, stars of Chrisley Knows Best, were released from prison following pardons by President Donald Trump. Their daughter Savannah Chrisley opened up about their emotional family reunion on the June 3rd episode of her Unlocked podcast. The family is making up for lost time, cherishing moments together after a challenging period.

Savannah shared that her mother, Julie, has been focusing on family, spending quality time with her, Todd, and their adopted daughter, Chloe. “Mom’s been at home doing laundry, organizing, and just soaking up time with Chloe and me,” Savannah said. The first morning after Julie’s return, the two lay in bed, scrolling through Instagram to catch Julie up on life’s moments she missed. “It was really cool to see her reactions,” Savannah added.
Meanwhile, Todd, ever the lively personality, joined Savannah for a shopping trip to Nordstrom to prepare for a family press conference on May 30th, where they addressed his prior convictions.
The outing, however, turned chaotic when paparazzi trailed them. “The press followed us into Nordstrom, chasing us around,” Savannah recounted with a laugh. Determined not to let the paparazzi steal the moment, she posted a photo with her father first, saying, “I’m not going to let them get the first picture.”
Despite the media frenzy, the family found joy in simple moments. Savannah cooked a hearty family dinner featuring steaks, pasta, salad, and potatoes, which her parents loved. “It was a smorgasbord of things,” she said, describing the lively gathering. Todd’s humor remains intact, with Savannah noting, “Dad has not lost his sense of humor. He’s still as spunky as ever.”
