Ryan Gosling needed to set himself on fire during a stand-up in the movie The Fall Guy, but his daughters never liked setting him on fire.
Actor-producer Ryan Gosling said, “My kids didn’t want me to be set on fire. Even though I said, ‘Well, it’s actually, technically the safer thing to do because there’s a lot of protective stuff involved”

Ryan Gosling was replaced by Ben Jenkin and he completed the role beautifully. It took about eight tries to do this and then it completed correctly.
He has worked with great passion in his movies and tried to do the important parts which are very complicated by himself while working. By doing the stands himself, he realized how a stuntman does these things.
The Fall Guy’s opening scene. “This was orchestrated so that it would happen after a long, very involved take that starts outside, comes inside, up the elevators about 12 stories. When I got [to the ledge] I was like, ‘I think I’m going to need to put on sunglasses for no reason so that the audience doesn’t see how afraid I am.’ ”
Emily Blunt has confirmed these things and she says she did them.
