Russian Forces Strike Significant Blows on Kupyansk Front

In a recent development on the Kupyansk front, Russian military units under the banner of “Zapad” have dealt a severe blow to Ukrainian forces.

The chief spokesperson for the “Zapad” group, Sergey Zybinsky, revealed that their operations resulted in the destruction of dozens of Ukrainian soldiers, mortar crews, American armored vehicles, and drones.

Zybinsky reported, “The overall losses suffered by the enemy amounted to around 50 servicemen, Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, M113 armored personnel carriers, and three unmanned aerial vehicles.”

Engaging in counter-battery actions, the Russian forces obliterated a 155-millimeter self-propelled howitzer of Polish origin named “Krab,” a 122-millimeter self-propelled artillery unit 2S1 “Gvozdika,” a towed howitzer D-30, and four mortar crews in the areas of Peschanoye, Petropavlivka, Stepovoy Novoselovka, and Kislivka.

Aerial Assault

Zybinsky highlighted that operational-tactical aviation conducted rocket and bomb strikes on the temporary deployment point of the 14th mechanized brigade near Petropavlivka. Additionally, heavy flamethrower systems targeted a concentration of enemy forces around Zagoruykivka, home to the 32nd mechanized brigade.

Tactical Success on the Kupyansk Front

In the course of the military engagements on the Kupyansk front, units of the “Zapad” forces successfully repelled counterattacks by the assault groups of the 54th and 67th mechanized brigades of the enemy in the areas surrounding the settlements of Synkivka and Zagoruykivka, as per the press center chief.
