On April 20, King Charles III, Queen Camilla, and other senior royals seen attending Easter Sunday service at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor.
However, Prince and Princess of Wales were notably absent — again. Their absence raised questions among royal watchers, especially amid growing public concern over the couple’s reduced public appearances in recent months.
Speculation intensified due to Princess Kate’s prolonged break from royal duties. Buckingham Palace later confirmed that the couple had chosen to spend Easter holiday privately with their three children — Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis — away from public eye.
Concern surrounding Kate’s health had increased earlier this year. On March 22, 2024 Princess of Wales publicly announced. She had been diagnosed with cancer following abdominal surgery in January and was undergoing preventive chemotherapy. By September she shared that her treatment had been successfully completed. And in January 2025, she officially announced she was in remission.
