After “Baywatch” rose to popularity in the 1990s, Anderson felt trapped by a single image. This led her to return to Canada, facing a shortage of new roles. “I was very sad and lonely,” she recalled.
Pamela Anderson expressed her gratitude in Instagram post, writing, “Zurich will remain in my heart—The Film Festival, the walks in the woods, the beautiful dinners, and my special visit to Carl Jung’s house were unforgetable moments to treasure… 🤍 Thank you to The Zurich Film Festival for the Golden Eye Award and this tremendous honor. ✨”
In 2022, Anderson found a spark again when she debuted on Broadway as Roxie Hart in the musical “Chicago.” Reflecting on her journey, she said that during her career’s low points, “everything is like a fog.”
