P Diddy (Sean Combs) has addressed allegations made by former inmate Derrek Lee Cardello-Smith, who filed a lawsuit claiming abuse.
In Touch Weekly reports that Cardello-Smith accuses Combs of misconduct and says the artist allegedly admitted to it.
Cardello-Smith says he first met Combs in 1997 while bartending at one of his parties. He alleges that Combs gave him a drink, after which he lost consciousness.
When he came, he saw Combs engaging with an unknown woman and reportedly heard Combs say, “I did the same with you.”
P. Diddy‘s lawyers argue there are inconsistencies in Cardello-Smith’s claim, including details about the location of the incident.
Rapper, reportedly outraged, has called the allegations false and ridiculous. His defense highlights Cardello-Smith’s own criminal record, which includes multiple convictions for various offenses.
“This man is a convicted criminal and sexual predator, with 14 convictions for assault and kidnapping over the past 26 years. Now he’s added prison fraud to his record. Mr. Combs has never heard of him, let alone been served with any lawsuit,” stated the rapper’s attorney.
Earlier on September 17, P. Diddy detained in New York on charges of assault, trafficking, and racketeering.
Even with $50 million bail and pledge to avoid contact with any women except family and case witnesses, he remains in custody. If convicted, he faces a minimum of 15 years to life in prison.
