Rapper and music producer P. Diddy, whose real name Sean Combs has been placed under supervision to prevent a possible suicide attempt, according to reports by Page Six.
The 53-year-old musician is currently facing serious charges including human trafficking.

Although his exact psychological condition is unclear authorities have implemented strict monitoring to ensure his safety. Such measures often taken for people considered to be at risk of self-harm.

Diddy is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in New York. The facility which opened in 1994, has been criticized for poor living conditions, inadequate nutrition, and a history of violence among inmates.

It has also gained a notorious reputation due to a high number of reported suicides, leading some to label it “hell on Earth.”

Earlier reports revealed that a U.S. court had denied P. Diddy bail. If convicted of the charges against him, which include racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transporting people for prostitution, he could face a minimum of 15 years in prison, with the possibility of a life sentence.
