Rapper P. Diddy is once again asking to be released from prison, seeking either freedom or house arrest while waiting for trial.
On October 8, his lawyers filed a new appeal to challenge the decision that denied him bail, according to TMZ. Diddy’s legal team argues he not threat to witnesses and has no plans to flee, despite what federal prosecutors claim.

Diddy’s trial might not happen until 2026. For now he remains in prison without special privileges. Insiders say this is an effort to push for a quicker confession from him.
This is not the first time Diddy has tried to get out on bail. He has twice offered million as compensation and promised to follow strict conditions, like avoiding private jets and not speaking with women outside his family.
Diddy arrested on September 17 on charges of sexual assault, human trafficking, and racketeering. Despite his bail offers and promise not to contact women involved in the case he remains in custody.
