The women claimed they were subjected to sexual violence and intimidation under Al-Fayed’s leadership which lasted from 1984 until the sale of Harrods in 2010.
Some of the victims also said they were forced to undergo invasive medical exams, including tests for sexually transmitted diseases with the results sent directly to Al-Fayed.
Reports suggest that the assaults didn’t just occur in London but also in other locations, such as the Ritz Hotel in Paris, another property owned by Al-Fayed as well as in Saint-Tropez and Abu Dhabi.
