Rock icon Jon Bon Jovi became a real-life hero during the filming of a music video in Nashville, where he saved a woman from taking her own life.
62-year-old Bon Jovi frontman noticed the woman in distress and, along with a passerby, approached her and managed to talk her out of committing suicide.
Incident was caught on surveillance cameras, showing Bon Jovi speaking to the woman before she was safely taken to a secure location. The video of saving that girl has been released on X.
The musician was reportedly filming a music video for his song “People’s House” at the time. A source shared that Bon Jovi, known for his hit “It’s My Life,” has experience dealing with people in crisis. Out of respect for the woman’s privacy, the musician declined to comment further.
Desde Las Trincheras wrote in caption, “Jon Bon Jovi stopped a woman from committing suicide by jumping off a bridge, the musician approached her while she was behind the bridge fence. The incident occurred in Nashville, Tennessee. Bon Jovi spoke to the stranger, then, with the help of an assistant, helped her”
Bon Jovi has been a staple in the rock world since 1983 with his band performing across more than 50 countries and releasing 16 studio albums.
