Millie Bobby Brown Opens Up on Feeling Safe With David Harbour Amid Stranger Things Bullying Claims

Millie Bobby Brown shared positive experiences from “Stranger Things” set, emphasizing “felt safe” despite bullying allegations against co-star David Harbour.

Actress, 21, told Hollywood Reporter she “felt safe” working alongside Harbour, 50, even as reports surfaced about complaints before season 5 production.

“We’ve stayed united over 10 years,” Brown said in Nov. 26 story. “Love this show deeply, cherish friendships above all.”

Brown described filming intense scenes with Harbour as safe. “Worked together decade-long. Feel protected with everyone on set.”

She highlighted father-daughter dynamic between characters Eleven and Hopper. “Naturally close bond from tough scenes, especially season 2,” Brown told Deadline in interview published Friday.

“David and I share strong relationship. Collaborate closely on scenes, prep work. Excited for fans to witness our effort in wrapping this story,” she added, noting Netflix premiere Wednesday.

“Especially Hopper-Eleven fans. Those moments pack impact. Pushes me to deliver best, knowing he matches energy.”

Season 5 debut followed headlines. Daily Mail reported Nov. 1 unnamed source claimed Brown filed bullying, harassment complaint against Harbour pre-production.

Outlet alleged months-long probe, with Brown joined by representative during filming.

At Nov. 6 Los Angeles premiere, Brown praised bond with Harbour to Entertainment Tonight. “Special connection from father-daughter roles. Share every scene. Journey with him means much.”

Executive producer Shawn Levy dismissed some reports as “wildly inaccurate” in Hollywood Reporter statement.
