Miley Cyrus was recently spotted on a rare public date with her boyfriend, Maxx Morando, the drummer for the band Liily.
Couple, who usually keep a low profile, caught the attention of the paparazzi during an outing at a Future Islands concert at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.
Miley dressed casually in a black sweater and jeans, with her hair pulled back and no makeup, while Maxx sported a dark blue Ralph Lauren sweater and white pants, his long hair down.
Miley and Maxx have been together since 2021, and according to insiders, they’re very happy. “Everyone loves Maxx. He’s a great guy. He’s private and doesn’t like the spotlight, which has been good for Miley,” said a source close to the couple.
However, their views on marriage seem to differ. Maxx reportedly talks about tying the knot, but Miley, after her 2020 divorce from actor Liam Hemsworth, is said to be more cautious.
“She’s been married before and doesn’t feel like they need to make it official to be strong together,” the source added.

Miley’s previous marriage to Liam Hemsworth ended after just a year and a half. Though they cited “irreconcilable differences,” Miley often references her ex-husband in interviews and songs.
