Miley Cyrus, 31, has been accused of plagiarizing Bruno Mars’ song When I Was Your Man for her hit song Flowers.
According to TMZ, a legal document from Tempo Music Investments claims that Miley copied parts of the melody and harmony from Bruno’s 2012 track.
Lawsuit argues that there are noticeable similarities in both verses and choruses of the two songs
“Based on the combination and number of similarities between the two compositions, it cannot be denied that Flowers would not exist without When I Was Your Man,” the document says.

Flowers became especially popular as a breakup anthem, with fans linking the song’s lyrics to Miley’s personal life, particularly her divorce from actor Liam Hemsworth.
Miley Cyrus has yet to respond to the plagiarism allegations.
