Mark Zuckerberg‘s fortune has skyrocketed sixfold, reaching $201 billion following the launch of Meta’s metaverse, according to Bloomberg.
This surge has placed Zuckerberg as the fourth-richest person in the world, joining the exclusive group of only three other individuals with fortunes exceeding $200 billion.
“According to the latest data from the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Zuckerberg’s personal wealth has grown by an astounding $73.4 billion in 2024, reaching a total of $201 billion,” report states.
The only individuals ahead of him are Tesla and X (formerly known as Twitter) CEO Elon Musk, whose fortune stands at $272 billion, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos with $211 billion, and Bernard Arnault, head of the luxury brand Moët Hennessy (Louis Vuitton), with $207 billion.
