Rapper Lil Jon, 53, attended the Democratic National Convention in Chicago as a delegate and entertained the crowd with his energetic rap performances.
The Democrats wrapped up their final dance party on Tuesday, August 20th, with a lot of fun and excitement.

DJ Cassidy, dressed in a blue double-breasted satin suit, took the stage and played special songs for each state and territory represented at the convention. Some highlights included “I’m Shipping Up to Boston” by Dropkick Murphys for Massachusetts, Tupac Shakur’s “California Love” for California, and Eminem‘s “Lose Yourself” for Michigan.
Lil Jon made a memorable appearance, shouting his signature “Yeaaaaah!” as he joined Representative Nikema Williams on stage. “Ladies and gentlemen, we are here tonight to officially nominate Kamala Harris for president,” he declared before performing his hit “Turn Down for What,” firing up the crowd.
Other states had their own musical tributes: Minnesota played “1999” by Prince, Indiana chose Michael Jackson‘s “Don’t Stop ’til You Get Enough,” and Nevada rocked out to “Mr. Brightside” by The Killers. Kansas played “Carry On My Wayward Son” by the band Kansas, and New Jersey went with Bruce Springsteen’s classic “Born in the USA.”

Meanwhile, U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris addressed the delegates remotely, thanking them for endorsing her candidacy after a ceremonial vote at the United Center. Speaking from Milwaukee, she appeared on screens set up by the convention organizers and expressed her gratitude with a heartfelt “I thank you!”
