Kanye West is being sued by a man named Jonathan Monroe, who claims rapper hired him as a security guard in August 2021 and offered $30 per hour. West later broke the agreement and sent a dismissal notice.
The lawsuit obtained by TMZ states Monroe worked 36-50 hours a week until he fired in October 2021 without receiving any pay. Monroe claims he let go after complaining about not being paid on time. Since then, there has been no compensation.

This isn’t Kanye’s first controversy this year. Teenagers earlier reported West to the police, accusing him of forcing them into hard, humiliating work for low wages.
