Nicole Kidman, the acclaimed 57-year-old Hollywood actress, recently opened up about her motivations for acting, emphasizing that it’s never been about the money.
In an interview with L’Officiel, Kidman shared that her decisions to take on roles are driven by her passions and desires, not financial gain.

“Because I can kiss Batman! People don’t understand that it’s not about the check,” Kidman explained, highlighting her love for unique and fulfilling experiences on set.
She expressed hope that the popular blockbusters she’s involved in reflect her diverse interests rather than just being commercial endeavors.
Kidman also reminisced about her role as Queen Atlanna in Aquaman. Despite not being a fan of comic books, she accepted the part out of respect for the film’s director, James Wan. Her connection to the director and the project, rather than the genre, motivated her to participate in the film.

“I fell in love with the long format because I love the character building, and I love that they’re limited. It’s more of a slow burn than a movie where you only have two hours to tell your story and build your character,” Kidman explained, underscoring her preference for roles that allow her to delve deeply into character development.
