Royal staffers shared their experience working with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry during the time they were still senior members of the royal family, according to an article by the Daily Beast.
“I witnessed people being berated both in person and over the phone, made to feel like crap. But it was an incredibly tough time, and I’m inclined to give her the benefit of the doubt. She herself admitted to having suicidal tendencies at times,” said the palace employee.
Another royal staffer, who worked with Markle before her wedding at Windsor Castle in May 2018, confessed that she can be very pleasant to deal with—up to a certain point.
“She’s wonderful when things are going her way, but turns into a demon when things go south,” the insider revealed.

A third assistant recounted an incident when Prince Harry‘s wife yelled at florists over the phone after they shared details about a bouquet they were working on for her. The florists never mentioned Meghan’s name, so no one could have suspected it was her order.
“They swore they’d never work with Meghan again, despite how prestigious a client she is. When you work for her, you’re often treated like a vendor who can be handled like dirt,” the insider added.
