Five years have passed since the release of the final episode of Game of Thrones. The audience still cannot forgive the legendary failure.
Among the army of haters was a soldier, or rather an impeccable one, ready to defend the end of the show.

Jacob Anderson, who played the role of Gray Worm, admitted that after reading the script for the eighth season, he immediately knew what kind of reviews to expect.
“I thought it would be a real masterpiece. People will either love it or hate it. Personally, I find the ending exciting,” the actor said.
Unlike millions of fans, Anderson loves Benioff and Weiss’s infamous “subverting expectations” approach. He assumed that their conclusion would be heartbreaking, and he not mistaken. The final grades did not bother him at all, because such a grandiose canvas could not please everyone.

“I understand why people were disappointed, but frankly, it was a pretty fun way to end the story. There’s a little demon in me that was rubbing my hands in anticipation when I got the script,” the actor recalled to Men’s Health.
Hundreds of thousands of franchise fans disagreed with the star, signing petitions demanding the final episodes be re-shot and numerous errors corrected.
Now they are pinning their hopes on the book original. The release of which delayed every year for unspoken reasons.
George Martin, the author of the book series, assured that the sixth part, “The Winds of Winter,” almost completed. But it never published either in 2016 or after the series ended.
