On the red carpet couple shared their thoughts on supporting each other in their relationship. George said, “I would support anything my wife is involved in. She’s always on the right side of history and I’m always proud to be in the same room with her. This event shines a light on people who don’t get enough attention,” according to People.
Amal expressed her admiration for her husband saying, “He’s an incredible advocate, and it means a lot to me to be able to work with him and help bring some stories to life.”
In response George joked, “I’m giving her money right now, you just can’t see it—right behind her back.”
