Former Queen Margrethe II of Denmark was hospitalized after a fall at her residence in Fredensborg, according to the Ritzau newspaper.
A palace spokesperson stated, “The Queen is in good condition under the circumstances but remains under medical supervision.”

Margrethe II abdicated in January after 52 years on the throne, making her reign the longest in Danish history. Her son, Frederick X, is now the King of Denmark.
