Eric Dane, known for his role in Grey’s Anatomy has been diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) at age 52, according to People.

Despite the challenging prognosis of this progressive, incurable disease that leads to muscle paralysis actor remains optimistic and determined to continue his career.
Dane expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support from family and friends including his ex-wife Rebecca Gayheart. Who has reconnected with him after their separation seven years ago. “It’s a tough time, but I’m lucky to have so much love around me,” he shared.
Undeterred by ALS, Dane is eager to keep working. He’s set to return to the set of Euphoria next week and plans to take on new projects as long as possible. “I feel fortunate to still do what I love,” he said.
