Michael Jackson had previously held the record, performing seven times at Wembley during his iconic Bad tour in 1988.
“You just made me the first solo artist to ever play Wembley eight times in one tour. We can never, ever thank you enough for that,” Taylor Swift told the crowd during her performance.
This milestone marks the end of the European leg of Swift’s tour, which had its challenges. Originally, she planned to include Vienna in her schedule but had to cancel three concerts due to a terrorist threat. Despite obstacles, Swift’s journey has been an extraordinary success.

The singer’s Vienna show was previously cancelled, which had a severe impact on the fans. Taylor Swift has not commented on the cancellation of the Vienna show for the sake of her fans’ safety.
“Let me be very clear: I am not going to speak about something publicly if I think doing so might provoke those who would want to harm the fans who come to my shows. In cases like this one, ‘silence’ is actually showing restraint, and waiting to express yourself at a time when it’s right to,” she said.
