Demi Moore has opened up about her weight loss journey, revealing that after the birth of her second child, she put a lot of pressure on her body, cycling nearly 60 kilometers (around 30 miles) every day.
In a video published on “CBS Sunday Morning” on Sunday, September 22, she reflected on her experience after having her second child. Moore gave birth to her second child in 1991, while married to Bruce Willis. At that time, the actress decided to bike 30 miles daily.

During interview she discussed the pressure she placed on herself to lose weight, saying, “I put so much pressure on myself, and I did have experiences of being told to lose weight. While those moments were embarrassing and humiliating, it’s what I did to myself because of that.”
The video also mentioned her intense cycling routine, noting that during the filming of the 1993 movie Indecent Proposal, she would bike from her home in Malibu to Paramount Studios in Hollywood, which was about 30 miles each way.

Moore added, “I was nursing a baby—I think she was five or six months old when we were shooting that. So I was feeding her through the night, getting up in the dark with a trainer, with a headlamp, biking all way to Paramount or wherever we were shooting, then working a full 12-hour day, and starting all over again.”
In the interview, Moore also touched on her career, mentioning how she earned a record-breaking $12.5 million for the 1996 movie Striptease. This led other actresses in Hollywood to demand and receive bigger paychecks.
