Footballer Cristiano Ronaldo recently made headlines by starting a YouTube channel and setting a world record in the process.
According to Aljazeera, on August 21, Ronaldo launched his channel and gained an astonishing one million subscribers in just an hour and a half.

This rapid growth earned him YouTube’s “Golden Button” award and set a new record for the most subscribers gained in a single day.
“The wait is over 👀🎬 My @YouTube channel is finally here! SIUUUbscribe and join me on this new journey,” he said in a post on X.
Currently, Ronaldo’s channel has 16 million subscribers, far surpassing his competitor Lionel Messi, who has only 2.2 million subscribers on a channel he started back in 2006.

“I have always enjoyed having such a strong relationship with fans on social media and my YouTube channel will give me an even bigger platform to do so and they will learn more about me, my family, and my views on many different subjects,” he said.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s YouTube channel has gained an astonishing 14.2 million subscribers and 24,450,366 views within just 24 hours. Currently, the channel has 19 published videos. As of now, Cristiano Ronaldo’s YouTube channel has reached 18.2 million subscribers (at the time of updating this article).
