Coldplay frontman Chris Martin brought a Russian fan to tears during a concert in Seoul by dedicating an impromptu song to him. The heartfelt moment, captured on video, has gone viral on social media.

While engaging with the audience, Martin learned a fan from Russia was present. Without hesitation, he crafted a short song for the young man, hinting at a future Coldplay performance in Russia. “Welcome, my beautiful brother! I know it was hard to get here. One day we’ll play in Russia, though it’s far away,” Martin sang.
The gesture deeply moved the fan, who was visibly emotional. The interaction highlights the strong connection between Coldplay and their global fanbase, even amidst challenges.
Foreign artists have largely stopped performing in Russia since the onset of the Ukraine conflict. However, Moscow will host its first major international act in three years on April 26, with rapper Offset scheduled to perform.
