Cameron Diaz plans a big-screen comeback next year and is ready to explain her 10-year absence from acting.
The four-time Golden Globe nominee took a long break from Hollywood after her last role as Miss Hannigan in Annie.

“I had to do this to get my life back. I didn’t care about anything else. Nothing would change my decision to take care of myself and create the life I wanted. For me, that meant starting my family,” Cameron shared at Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Summit.
Diaz married Benji Madden from Good Charlotte in 2015, and they have a daughter and a son together. During her time away she wrote several health books and launched an organic wine brand called Avaline.
Cameron Diaz will return to the big screen in Back in Action, premiering on Netflix on January 17.
