Britney Spears faced a dangerous situation at home, nearly burning her face by a fireplace.
On Monday, the singer shared that six months ago, she had a close call when her fireplace flared up. After turning it on herself, flames shot toward her face.

“I usually ask the staff to do it, but I decided to do it myself. My face was on fire, and the person next to me didn’t want to wake up,” Britney, 42, said.
She added, “It burned off my eyelashes, eyebrows, and these baby bangs are from it burning my hair.”
“But this time, I just threw the whole thing in there, and it literally blew into my face,” Spears said, adding that the “person [she] was with just would not wake up.”

At the time, she feared having serious burns and thought she might need to go to the hospital as her face felt like it was on fire. Her Instagram post has now been deleted.
Britney also mentioned that it hurt to touch her face, even with ice or her phone. The pain lasted about seven hours, and she only found relief after taking a painkiller.
Last year, the singer accidentally started a fire in her home gym while dancing with candles.
