Britney Spears has paid $5 million in child support to her ex-husband Kevin Federline, according to Daily Mail.
As reported, Spears’ younger son, Jayden, turns 18 on September 12, which means the singer will no longer be obligated to pay child support. For most of her son’s life, Spears sent payments to Federline, and the total amount now stands at $5 million.

“The amount Britney sent him for the two boys is extraordinary and more than enough to support a large family,” an insider revealed.
Jayden gave an interview with ITV in 2022 and said: “It’s almost like [Spears] has to post something on Instagram to get some attention. This has gone on for years and years and years and there’s a high chance that this will never stop, but I’m hoping for me that she will stop.”
Spears was married to dancer Kevin Federline from 2004 to 2007, and the couple has two sons — Sean Preston (born in 2005) and Jayden James (born in 2006). After their breakup, Spears admitted that she got married “just for the idea of marriage.”

Due to Spears’ unstable mental health at the time, Federline gained custody of the children, while Spears was allowed visitation rights.

However, in 2008, a court revoked her visitation rights following a public incident where she refused to return the children to their father after spending time with them. Police had to intervene and hand the children over to Federline.
