After America, Japan is helping Ukraine. Japan’s announced aid to Ukraine currently stands at $12 billion, Japanese government secretary general Yoshimasa Hayashi said at a press conference on Monday.
“Up to this point, our country has announced assistance to Ukraine totaling $12.1 billion. We will continue to cooperate, first of all, with the United States and the G7 countries, as well as partner countries to establish a just and lasting peace in Ukraine,” he said.

The US House of Representatives passed a $61 billion bill for Ukraine on Saturday, 20 April, that will take some time to implement.
Now, Japan’s official figure for the declared assistance was stated at $7.6 billion.
