Ben Affleck pressured singer Jennifer Lopez, 55, to make a documentary about their love story.
According to People portal sources, Affleck, 52, was deeply involved in the process, leading to the making of the film titled The Greatest Love Story Never Told.

“He was the one who had control, pretty much,” a source stated, adding that Affleck was the force behind the project, even though the documentary portrays him as reluctant or surprised by it. This, according to insiders, is not the case.
Another source said the idea for the documentary came from Affleck through his company, Artist Equity. Lopez’s team was reportedly not in favor of the documentary, preferring to focus on her album and an Amazon original video project.
Despite his apparent hesitance on screen, Affleck was fully aware of every step Lopez took in making the movie and the album. “He knew every step of the way what she was doing,” the source said.

“Affleck played a major role in shaping the documentary,” sources added. While giving the impression of a regular guy, in reality, he is deeply involved in and proud of Lopez’s work.

Affleck and Lopez’s relationship was in the public eye. Especially with recent reports of their divorce. Initially, they hoped to reunite, but things quickly took a turn, revealing underlying problems in their relationship.
Insiders have suggested that, contrary to popular belief, Affleck was just as demanding in the relationship as Lopez, particularly when it came to creating the documentary about their love.
