Asian First Michelle Yeoh wins the Best Actress Oscar and receives the Presidential Medal of Freedom from President Joe Biden.
Michelle Yeoh, 61, received a special medal from US Prime Minister Joe Biden and was presented at the White House on Friday, April 3. The medal he received is called the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

In Biden’s brief speech, he said, “Stereotypes and glass ceilings, enrich and enhance American culture.”
