It has been nearly eight years since Jolie and Pitt separated. Their relationship went through many complicated moments, and she deeply affected. Since then, she has focused on spending time with her children, as that brings her the most joy. Painful memories of her past still linger, making it difficult for her to fully trust men.
“She finds it hard to trust men after what she went through with Brad. She hasn’t sworn off men, but she’s not looking for anything serious right now. She doesn’t think she’ll ever recover from the trauma of her relationship with Brad. Angelina feels complete, she’s happy with her children and her life,” the source said.
Jolie now spends a lot of time in New York, attending exhibitions theater performances, and working on her fashion brand Atelier Jolie. “Angelina is actively working on projects and humanitarian initiatives,” the insider added.
Jolie and Pitt married in 2014, but their relationship ended just two years later when she filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. She also accused Pitt of domestic violence. In 2019, they officially separated, but after a long legal battle, their divorce finalized on December 30, 2024.
