Angelina Jolie has decided to end her legal pursuit of the FBI regarding the abuse allegations she made against her ex-husband, Brad Pitt: Us Weekly reports.
The case centered around an alleged incident on a private jet in 2016 which played a key role in Jolie filing for divorce from Pitt later that year.

Jolie had filed an anonymous lawsuit requesting that FBI provide documents about the investigation into the alleged altercation. Jolie, under the name “Jane Doe,” sought the information through a Freedom of Information Act request.
However, newly obtained documents reveal that Jolie has dropped the lawsuit as of September 25, informing the court of her decision. Both parties will cover their own legal costs.
In 2022, Jolie sued the FBI after the agency declined to open a case against Pitt, stating there was no evidence of a crime. Bureau had reviewed video footage from the flight and concluded that there was no physical violence during the incident.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie first met in 2004 while filming Mr. and Mrs. Smith. The pair married in 2014 but separated two years later. In 2016, Jolie accused Pitt of abusing their eldest son, Maddox, during a flight from France.
Despite the serious allegations, no charges were ever filed. The former couple shares six children—Maddox, Pax, Knox, Zahara, Shiloh, and Vivienne—many of whom reportedly have limited contact with Pitt since the contentious divorce.
