Couple got engaged last December after a year of dating. Just a month after the engagement, they met with a wedding planner to start organizing the big day.
During the interview, Demi explained, “I wanted to plan ahead because I didn’t want to be stressed at the last minute… I don’t want my wedding to feel like work.”
“I’ve always wanted to direct,” Lovato told Fallon. “I’ve codirected a couple music videos and so when this project started to gain traction, it just made the most sense for me to codirect it with my codirector Nicola Marsh. It was a no-brainer.”
